The Beginning

The Axemen M/C was founded in the Detroit metro area in March 1998 by the original 12 founding members. The club was to be exclusive to IAFF members, active or retired.

We are more than just a community, we are a Brotherhood. A Brotherhood that shares the values and traditions of Firefighting and Motorcycling. The Axemen Nation, now spanning 35 chapters in 17 states nationwide, is a testament to our shared passion. Despite our growth, we continue to uphold our motto, ‘Quality over Quantity’, ensuring that every member feels a sense of belonging and connection.

Our commitment to service extends beyond our membership. Many of our chapters are 501(c)(3) organizations, and all chapters hold charity events throughout the year. These events, a testament to our dedication, donate funds to organizations such as burn camps for children, medical research (cancer, Parkinson’s, ALS, etc), hospitals, and many other worthy causes. We believe in making a difference, and we invite you to join us in this noble endeavor.
